"I was honoured to be able to switch on the Cherry Lodge Christmas lights display in the courtyard of the Spires Shopping Centre in High Barnet. I enjoy singing the first carols of the Christmas season and the two minutes silence gave everyone attending a chance for some quiet reflection."
"I was impressed at the number of people who turned out to support the event today despite the cold."
The event was attended by around 60 people. You can find more information about the work of Cherry Lodge Cancer Care at www.cherrylodgecancercare.org.uk.
