Commenting on this latest development in the long debate about Brunswick Park Health Centre, Theresa Villiers said:
“I have been campaigning for many months for the Brunswick Park Medical Centre to open for business so my constituents can start to use these excellent new facilities. I share the concern and frustration felt by residents that the centre has remained unused for so long. I am determined to get progress made on this issue after it has dragged on for too long.”
“This announcement by NHS England looks as if it could be a step forward but these are only proposals at this stage. The move of the Hampden Square medical practice into the Health Centre will be very welcome if it goes ahead.”
“I will continue to press for that to happen. I would also like to see other GP practices move into the centre so more of my constituents are able to use this facility.”
