The exhibition was created by Mill Hill resident, Doros Partasides, and featured a collection of images of Cyprus from his career as a photographer over the last forty-five years.

Fellow Barnet MPs, Mike Freer and Matthew Offord, Enfield MPs, David Burrowes and Nick de Bois, and Sir Roger Gale MP and were also present.
Guests included diplomats, academics, journalists and distinguished members of the Cypriot community including the former Mayor of Barnet, Cllr Lisa Rutter, and Andreas Papaevripedes, chairman of Democratic Rally UK.
Speaking at the event, Theresa said, “This wonderful exhibition is a great way to celebrate the start of Cyprus’ Presidency of the EU."
"My very good friend, Doros Partasides, has created an outstanding tribute to Cyprus and is unwavering in his efforts of working towards a united Cyprus.”¬ù
"I campaigned hard to see Cyprus join the EU even though many predicted that it would never happen. Now I am enthusiastically welcoming the transfer of the rotating EU Presidency to Cyprus. It is great that so many distinguished guests have taken the time to attend the exhibition to mark this very important event in the history of Cyprus."
The former Mayor of Barnet, Cllr Lisa Rutter, added, "The exhibition was truly amazing, capturing so many images over the 45 years. Some of the pictures in the exhibition were very moving showing the anguish of refugees after their homes had been illegally occupied in 1974. Let's hope during this year we can make progress towards a free and united Cyprus."
